Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 lb Italian sausage

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

  • 2 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste

  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes

  • 1 tbsp dried basil

  • 1 tbsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 lb ricotta cheese

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water, then set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat until meat is browned and onion is softened, stirring occasionally. Drain any excess fat.
